Oh, and the soup. Without soup in Korea – anywhere. This is often cold watery soup with delicate noodles and egg. And sometimes dessert. Most often it is sweets rice. They are not too sweet, often with the addition of some herbs and nuts. Overall, with thoughtful eating, Korean sweets, you can also find happy moments.

Just don’t buy sweets at the street markets of strangers! And then buy green stuff, as pictured below. It was not sweet and grassy with a nasty taste. Rice + grass. Either asparagus, or spinach. Thrown out, of course.

But in the markets is “obzhorny series”, where if you sort of baked pancakes-omelets with vegetables and herbs inside. These pancakes are fried in front of you in hot oil and eaten immediately at plastic tables, serve with a weak Korean vodka:
