The mountain trout festival in Hwacheon province
In South Korea, every year in November begins the holiday mountain trout. Tens of thousands of ice fishing enthusiasts from across the country gather in the Hwacheon province to try his luck on the ice of lake Paroho. The highlight of the festival are competitions on catching fish in the icy water with his bare hands.

Korean holiday Taborem
Taborem holiday (Full moon festival) is celebrated on 15 th day of the 1st lunar month. Convol Aborym — holiday, traditionally celebrated by the whole village, on this day people wish each other to have passed their troubles and misfortunes in the New year, and that a year has passed in abundance.
Festival of the sea in Busan
The sea festival in Busan is held on all the beaches of this city, including Haeundae beach, guanganli beach and many others. This festival is the largest in Korea; during this festival in Busan also hosts many other small and big festivals.

New year Koreans celebrate twice: familiar to us the feast of the New year of the solar calendar is celebrated here quite quietly and modestly, in a circle of family and friends. But the New year according to the lunar calendar can be called the longest and a very important holiday in South Korea. For 15 days across the country held turbulent Christmas festivities and celebrations, fancy-dress balls and costume parades.

Spring is the time of awakening of nature, so most of the spring holidays and festivals in South Korea is the natural theme. In March in Gwangyang city hosts the Festival of plums, when in all its glory shows the different varieties of these trees in bloom. In April, Jeju island becomes the ideal place for all couples: during the Festival of Sakura they can go through the petals underneath these beautiful trees, thereby having blessed their family life.
Buddha’s birthday Koreans celebrated in may. On this day people visit temples and pray. Many cities have become places wild celebration, the streets are filled with colourful crowds of people marching, and houses and temples decorated with colorful lanterns in the shape of a Lotus.
